My birthday is Monday and DVD allows you free cover within seven days of yr birthday so I figured I had a low-risk chance to stop in and see if the formerly great Vu had started to come back to its glory days. It hasn't. First thing, it was seriously cold in the place. Most dancers were wearing leggings or stockings and probably a third were wearing sweaters or sweatshirts. That really takes away from the "eye candy" factor. Plus, it seemed like a lot of the girls were in pussy moods, probably due to the chill. I was there from 10:30 to midnight on a Friday and the main floor room was not even half full. I like to go up to the upper stage to tip, but the VIP Lounge was not even open. 96 percent of the dancers just wake up and say "Wanna dance?" No seduction, no introduction. Most of the time they even approach you from behind so you really can't check out the goods.. So many under 21 guys in the place, too, which is quite annoying as they still seem more interested in their high school hi jinx. This place used to have the most beautiful woomen in town, but the stable of talent is pretty average now. After having written this review, I'm now going back up to adjust my rating scores downward after realizing how soulless this visit was.
