2001 Odyssey is a good alternative...

2001 Odyssey is a good alternative compared to Mons Venus across the street. I arrived shortly after midnight and found that parking was hard to come by with all the food trucks in the front lot. Once inside the cover I paid was 20 dollars and you have to buy a four dollar bottle of water. This club isn't that big or too upscale looking, but it didn't make me feel like I was in a hole in the wall. There was very limited seating with the majority of patrons standing. I situated myself by the stage since I didn't feel like standing. The DJ and dancers "highly encourage" you to tip a lot so be prepared to bring a lot of one's if you're forced to sit at the stage - which is expected anyway. I eventually found this dancer that caught my eye, and I went to buy a dance from her. It's five dollars to enter the private dance area and 25 (negotiable) for one dance. The area they set up for dances is a series of booths without curtains and the walls/ceiling is mirrored. The song length is adequate and the dancer I had did the standard stuff you get at Tampa strip clubs with two way contact and all that. After the second dance she asked if I wanted to go to the VIP room which would cost 400 dollars for 30 minutes. There weren't any signals that she would do anything extra during the dances I had but I decided to go with it anyway. I was led to a corner of the club that has these private rooms separated by a door. The hostess responsible for this area wanted a tip to "make sure nobody bothers me", so I gave her 50 dollars and went inside. I know that mileage varies heavily according to which dancer you get, because this room was completely private and nobody checked up on me. The experience I got was really just a long dance. For three minutes or so she tugged on my johnson, but other than that I don't see how it was worth 400 dollars.
