After leaving Biggins on Sunday night, I decided to give Molly Brown's a try.
I wasn't sure what to think when I arrived; the place seemed dead. Turns out it was just the layout that threw me off. There were a good number of people there, they were just on the far side of the stage. After getting a drink and surveying the club, I only saw about 4 dancers. It turns out most of the other dancers were giving private dancers, or hiding in the back somewhere.
Shortly after I sat down, a tall, thick-yet-attractive brunette with an almost slavic accent offered me a private dance. I accepted (and wish I hadn't). The dances were $20/song. The private dance area is private from the rest of the club, but not really private from the others back there. There is a wall of curtains that separates the private area from the rest of the club; once back there, there are cubbies with oddly shaped chairs for the dances. There is some privacy, but everyone who goes back there can see what's going on. There were probably 6 other private dances going on when we went back there, and it's kinda awkward to walk past them. The dance from this particular dancer wasn't very good. She stayed pretty much fully clothed and didn't really touch me for the duration of the song. The best part of the dance was when the song ended and I could leave.
