I flew into Tampa International Airport...

I flew into Tampa International Airport and decided to test drive some of the clubs north of Clearwater/St. Pete up Highway 19. I started at Brass Flamingo as the furthest point north and worked my way south.

The club is perhaps nicer outside than in, but is not a dive. My impression of the clubs along 19 is that there seems to be a rougher, hardier clientele the further north you go. I didn't see any really attractive girls when I was there, but it was early. One sat down shortly after I did, then had to get up and dance right away. Another girl, well, she was too old to be described as a girl, came up and started talking with me. She looked rough and made an earnest go at conversation while she rubbed my lower leg, but there was no subtlety to any of it. Then the first girl came back and shooed her away. The situation was uncomfortable for me and I left right after. I only spent about 10 minutes in the club all told. There was simply nothing of interest to me at the time I visited. Having said this, I would give it another try if ever in the area again.

The next club on my itinerary was Allure, another review of an entirely different nature coming for that one.
