I went to Cheetah's on the...

I went to Cheetah's on the the 22nd around 11 p.m. and the place was dead. Typically on a Thursday night this place is packed with dancers and customers. It was so quite that the front stage wasn't used the entire time I was there that night (left around 12:30). I hadn't been in Cheetah's since December, and things have changed.

The VIP room is now 3 for $100. The VIP rooms were hardly in use that night. I heard several people complain to dancers that ~$35/song is ridiculous. Most dancers just shook their head and walked away. The main floor and chairs upfront were doing a brisk business. I paid $20/song for a dance on the floor. I couldn't see a reason to pay $15 more for not much more action. The dancers I spoke to said that was what most customers told them as well. The dancers seem to take in stride.

Now for the dancers....I don't know if it was the night or the dancers have left to go elsewhere with the new clubs opening...but the talent level has dropped. Overall, the dancers rated maybe a 5. Something refreshing was that the hard sell wasn't in full gear either. Dancers were friendly, but not overbearing. Just not much to look at.
