I arrived midweek on a work...

I arrived midweek on a work layover and thought I would try out this local joint. It's a big hit with the service guys at Ft. Rucker nearby. Anyway, there's some weird loophole in the AL law that says they can serve alcohol and have topless dancers only if you're a "member" of they're private club. I decided to spring for the one-time $5 membership fee (instead of the $50 "lifetime" fee), because I didn't want to commit sight-unseen.

Very Miami Vice feel to the place: tons of neon lights and pleather. There were 4 dancers taking turns on the toe raised stages. No pasties (surprising for AL), and the talent wasn't too bad, especially for a weeknight. Drinks were a little steep at $4/beer, but they were cold and the waitress patrolling the floor was pleasant. I was one of about 10 guys there (and apparently I was the only out-of-towner) so I didn't get much attention. I did my usual tip at the stage routine, but didn't get approach for a LD. Not a bad hang to kill a little time, but in this neck of the woods you're better off at "Stripped" just down the road in my opinion.
