A bunch of my friends and...

A bunch of my friends and I decided to check out Onyx on a weekend. Before you get here, have a plan for parking, because it can be expensive. There are a couple of lots outside the club (to the side) operated by some random people, and it's secure, but can set you back $20. I paid for that parking and then walked up to the front of the club. There was quite a long line...after finally getting in, we had to pay the cover charge which was also expensive.

The place is HUGE once you get in. It took a while trying to figure out where to stand (forget about sitting...it was packed to the hilt and standing room only) and once we got a place to stand, people kept bumping into us or brushing against us as they walked by. It was also very difficult to get the attention of the bartender to get a drink given the volume of the crowd.

The quality of the dancers was good but nothing exceptional. I would rate most of them a 7.5 (with some 8's in there). Most of the patrons were not getting dances, but rather just standing around people watching. It was like a nightclub and less of a strip club. If you get a VIP table, you can have some space to chill with your friends. I think fun can be had at this club, but probably on a weekday when it's not so crowded.
