This is a composite review summarizing two visits. One was on a late afternoon Monday; the other the following Thursday, earlier in the afternoon.

I had seen the sign on I-84 for many years, and read the reviews. So on a trip to New England, I created some time. All in the name of research, of course.

The dreary exterior is misleading. As you walk in, the place is very nice. Great lighting: not too bright, but easy to see what you want to see. Nice music volume, and a good choice of tunes, at least in the daytime. And reasonably-priced drinks: $5.50 for a Sam Adams bottle. Like a regular bar.
