I visited Christie’s on a Thursday...

I visited Christie’s on a Thursday night, arriving around 9pm. It costs me $7 to enter and a diet coke was $4.50 at the bar. Both the young lady at the door and the bartender were friendly. This was my first ever visit to Christie’s so I looked around a bit before finding a chair toward the end of the peninsula shaped stage. The décor of the club is very nice with wood paneling and foe marble. It’s also, like most clubs, a bit on the dark side.

I would estimate about a dozen dancers on shift. Some were just coming in to start their night. The dancers would do two dances on stage with the second topless. The dance pole is in the middle of the stage and somewhat blocked from where I was sitting by a marble column. Most of the dancers would come over and dance near or at the stairs leading up to the stage. No one was tipping at the stage. All the other customers seemed to be regulars.

All of the dancers I observed were attractive. Most were slim with small breasts. Only one or two of the young ladies had curves to speak of. Three of the dancers came and sat with me for short periods of time. None of them could hold more than a minute or two cursory conversation. Most of the dancers sat with themselves or their regulars. Fortunately the NFL Broncos / Chargers game was on the big screen TV’s. Star and Melissa were my two standouts of the night.

I never inquired about dance prices as none of the young ladies really struck my fancy enough to make me want to spend money on a lapper dance. I noted several manager / bouncer types walking around and watching the dancers closely. After about an hour I decided to end my reconnaissance visit and to see what was happening at nearby South Side Johnny’s.
