I haven't reviewed this club in...

I haven't reviewed this club in more than two years. However, I just recently stopped by last Thursday night. I've always liked this club a lot, the only reason I don't stop by more often is because of the cig smoke. I HATE HATE HATE cig smoke and the only clubs in Richmond that don't allow smoking are the two Paper Moons. And since the dance prices in Richmond are pretty much the same no matter where you go, I usually go to the Paper Moon. That said, every now and then I like to get a change of scenery--which is why I decided to check out Pure Pleasure last Thursday night and I'm so glad I did.

I got here right around midnight last Thursday night and they actually had a decent amount of PL's for a week-night. I've always liked the dancer quality here, but on this particular night it was exceptional. I mean seriously, this was one of the best nights for dancer quality that I've seen in a long time. There were many dancers I wanted to get dances from, but with how much dances cost in Richmond, you've got to pick carefully unless you're loaded.

The guy who reviewed this club before me provided a very accurate review. In Richmond, they don't serve liquor in strip clubs. However, this is the one club that actually does, the catch is that there are two sections to the club and the section that serves liquor isn't where the dancers are dancing. And although you can walk from one section to another, you can't bring your liquor over to the section where the dancers are dancing. Its silly, but that's just how it is. The rest of the strip clubs in Richmond don't have liquor PERIOD!
