Was visiting NYC and decided to check out Lace, mainly because it was easy to find and in a good spot at Times Square. Stopped in on a Thursday afternoon and it was pretty slow … 5-7 dancers on duty … eastern euros, a Hispanic chick and an AA. I wasn’t looking for more than a place to stop and have a beer and chill for an hour or so. This turned out to be a good spot because there was strict no touching and very hard sell VIP. The layout is small … tables in the middle and a bench sofa thing lining the back wall … two stages. The beer was expectedly pricey…$8 I think. But I ended up having a nice chat with the Hispanic chick. She was pretty and kinda funny and I ended up rewarding her with a couple of $20 dances … not a whole lot to talk about as far as the dance goes. Minor contact, nothing crazy…but whatever, I was able to kill some time and chat and drink. YMMV depending on the time you arrive and money you’re willing to show and spend. I was offered VIP but declined …didn’t want to part with the quoted $300.
