A complete waste of time. I went in to the Alpine tonight (Tuesday, 10/21/14). I arrived at about 8:30pm and the place was empty. I hung around and a few people started filing in. Some “dancing” started at about 9:30. Over the next hour to hour and a half maybe three girls danced; one danced for about a minute, one danced for a song or two and one danced for maybe three songs. None took off a single article of clothing despite some tipping by me and a few other fellows. There were maybe four dancers and perhaps one or two were cute but it’s hard to tell, I never really saw much of them. As far as I can figure, the girls sole goals are to 1) smoke outside 2) talk to friends at the bar and 3) Disappear. There appeared to be a manager floating around but he didn’t seem interested in doing much to foster any customer enjoyment whatsoever. I travel quite a bit and I’ve spent much time with travel delays and I’ve even been to see the Mets, Islanders, and Raiders; with all this and more, I don’t think I’ve had two hours more completely wasted than at the Alpine this evening. I can’t imagine visiting again.
