My girlfriend is out of town...

My girlfriend is out of town for the week and I got bored sitting around the house last night so I decided to hit some of the clubs. This was my first night out in a while and the first two clubs I visited were disappointments. Normally I don't have Deja Vu very high on my list of places to visit, a friend of mine had called me over the weekend to let me know that she was back in town and working at Deja Vu now so I decided to stop by and see if there was any action to be found here. I'm glad I did! My friend wasn't working last night, but I did see two other girls who I had gotten to be friends with when they worked at other clubs and spent most of the evening with them. A lot has changed since my last visit to Deja Vu but some things unfortunately are still the same.

First off, the positives...Girls! Lot's of girls! Lot's of very nice looking girls! I think you get the picture. I've been to Deja Vu a number of times and this was by far the best assortment of talent I've ever seen here. There may not have been a 10 in the house, but there were at least 3 or 4 solid 9's and the majority were at least 7's. I only saw one girl that I would classify as ugly and another that was overweight but would have been cute if she lost some weight. Whatever your preferrence there was probably a girl for you, blondes, brunettes, short, tall, black, white, asian, etc. Overall a very nice selection. The atmosphere in the club was much nicer than in the past too. The lap dance booths have been refinished since my last visit and are much cleaner and are somewhat more comfortable than they used to be. The room was better lit and they apparently have installed some smoke filters because even though several people were smoking it wasn't a constant cloud like it used to be. The waitresses were attentive without being pushy or obnoxious. The quality of the dances was much better than in the past, but I don't know if that was because the girls I was with were friends of mine or if it's a general relaxing of the rules so YMMV. As usual, Deja Vu is one of the cheaper clubs in town so you can have a good time without spending a fortune.

No the bad...Parking (or lack thereof) has always been an issue at Deja Vu and when you can't find a parking place on a Tuesday night you know there's a problem. Forget about even trying to park near the club on a weekend. I got lucky and saw a car pulling out right as I was turning in and managed to get a spot just a few feet from the door, but that was sheer luck. Another negative is that they apparently have installed more cameras since my last visit as the small glass domes were very obvious in front of the lap dance booths so you knew that privacy was a non-issue.
