Wisconsin mongers take note: This might be a hidden gem, both literally and figuratively as the worst part about it is how hard it is to find.

The first thing to know is that it's not really in West Bend. It's more accurate to say it's in the Town of Trenton. For whatever reason, it doesn't come up yet in a straight-up Google Map search, and entering the listed address of 1204 Wisconsin 33 in your GPS will land you over two miles west of where you want to be, just west of River Road. The club is actually well east of River Road and even the small West Bend Airport, across the street from the West Bend Lakes Golf Club. I'd recommend checking the satellite view of your favorite mapping software to help you get there. If you're on Hwy. 45, the best I can tell you is head east on 33 and keep going until you see signage for the golf course, then look on the other side of the road for a strip mall; it'll be in there. I don't know if you will save or lose time getting there from the south if you take I-43, but you'll still want to exit on 33.

Like I said, the place is in a strip mall and looks fairly unimpressive from the outside — you wouldn't know a club was inside if you were just driving by and didn't know what the Spearmint Rhino brand is. You head in and there's a bouncer at the register for the cover. I forget how much it is, but he gave me a couple free passes, so they're trying to drum up business.
