Last night was my very first...

Last night was my very first visit to Silky's. It was a Tuesday night, and I initially showed up around 10pm. I poked my head in the door and saw nobody in the club except for a couple guys talking in the back. I'd heard that Silky's was more of an after-hours spot, so I thought I would go down the street to Club Erotica and check that out first.

After an hour or so at Erotica (will write a review separately when I have time) I headed back to Silky's to see if anything was going on at that point, or if I should just call it a night and head home. Looking through the door, I saw a girl working on the stage, so I went in. $10 cover, totally reasonable considering free beers. It was funny, though, as I sat down by the stage I realized that I was the ONLY patron in the club at that point! Everyone else gathered around the stage was a dancer. Usually I would feel pretty precarious being the only guy in the club, but over the next 90 minutes I had a really fun time.

A quick club description: small, dark and narrow. I get the feeling that if there were even 20 people in there, it would feel packed. There are two stages (only one was active that night) and the dance/private area is upstairs in another part of the club, and feels slightly more upscale than the rest. The bathroom had comically sticky floors!
