This was my first visit to...
This was my first visit to Main Stage. I frequently travel to Atlanta for business, and in the past, I've only visited Follies and Flashers. For a change of pace, I decided to give Main Stage a shot.
Since I was visiting on a Thursday, there was no valet service in effect. I parked my vehicle and walked in. If I remember correctly, the cover was under $10. When I go there, the place was dead. There was a couple and one single male.
I walked up to the bar, ordered a beer, and had a seat. Even though the place was almost empty, it didn't stop the dancers from performing. It seems that they all hang out at one table near the stage, and take their turn.
At first, a very thin and tall black dancer came and sat down beside me. She was a little more pushy than I like, but not annoying. We chatted for a while, she got the idea that I wasn't interested (she's just not my type), and she got up to get ready to go on stage. Then, a dancer who goes by "Pixie" took the stage. She may not be for everyone, but she caught my eye for sure. She is a heavily tattooed white woman, with pierced nipples, and a few extra pounds - I would rate her a 7, but opinions may vary. Anyway, I contributed a few dollars to the cause, and she delivered...taking off the top, and giving a great show. Afterward, she sat with me for a minute, and then invited me over to the table with her, the other dancers, and one other single guy who was there before me. At that time, the couple left, so it was just two single guys and all the dancers. Most of the other dancers left, except for her and one dancer that is a friend of hers. We talked for the better part of an hour - an actual genuine conversation, not a hustle. They were pretty candid about how they barely break even on slow nights like that, but they rack up on the weekends. I was particularly impressed with the fact that they just kicked back, had a smoke, and talked with us...no pressure...no hustle at all.
Eventually, they got around to mentioning that there wasn't much going on anyway, if they could take a little money home, it would better than none, etc... to make a long story short, they offered the two of us to go to the "champagne room" for a nice rate. I don't remember the exact layout, but I think we each put out about $50 for 5-6 songs. I will have to say that they both gave some of the best lap dances I've had. "Pixie" was not drunk, but her friend was plastered. They both gave us a couple of dances and then swapped. While "Pixie" had my eye, her friend gave the most aggressive lap dance of the two... she wasn't bothered with my hands exploring slightly, and she bounced on my lap quite a bit.
