I was in the area Thursday...

I was in the area Thursday afternoon so dropped in to check out Pumptown. Haven't been here for a while. Was about 4pm. Place was pretty empty, 3 others at the bar, 2 dancers alternating. Despite the small crowd the atmosphere was fun. Had a couple of beers and watched the girls dance two songs. If you give them some feedback, the dancing was pretty good and they showed all they had. Then came around the bar for tips. Not pushy about dances or extra tips, nice and laid back. I was tempted to get a dance from one or both at 20/per - but when i inquired I got the standard no touching in the back lines. 'we can touch you' etc. I'm ok with that if there's a bit more of a promise than that, but i felt i would be risking a lame dance and didn't have that much to spend so I was satisfied to just hang and interact a bit. A third dancer did come in around 5 - so they had 3 from then on, but i left shortly after watching her dance.

i like the place, low key. would come back, and may try for a dance next time...
