Really late afternoon early evening, before the price goes up at 7PM. Been a while and stopped in to get out of a really big rain storm, a rarity in Denver, and get a quick dance or two...not the night for it. Storm had its effects though, one dancer told me only 4 were there, the rest never showed. More showed up before 8, but still quite outnumbered by the small crowd. Of course the odds of more than 1 of the 4 being one you'd really want were low.
No real changes here in the layout, little more rundown, had a really dead vibe...the screen that could have been a distraction was rolled up on the main wall by the dressing room, would have been great to see the Colts play there, instead of on the old TV in the bar area. Standard drill with mini-laps, but only one stage open, pretty good efforts on the stage -- dancers actually got quite a bit of attention and made it worth the $2 tips that are standard here, but with the ratio, hard to get attention to go in back from one of the very few dancers, and even harder to get it from any that were your type.
Weird mix of music from hip hop to an entire set of 80s pop -- Men At Work?!!! Left after about 45 minutes, maybe was getting better, but kind of matched the miserable weather outside...even some of the dancers (not my type tho) were discounting their dances by paying for the $10 wristband. Will have to try back after 9PM or better yet on a weekend night.
