I checked out this club for the first time Friday afternoon. I usually go to California Girls (previously Imperial Showgirls before they raised their prices) about 15 minutes away, but thought I would try something different.

Stepped into the club at around 2:30pm and there were only two other guys sitting in the rows in the back. Admission was free aside from buying a mandatory drink. I grabbed a seat in the second row from the stage and the bartender immediately came over to offer me a drink. I asked for a water and she went to get it. Less than a minute after sitting down, a tall, skinny black girl (forgot her name) came over and started chatting. She tried to sell me on dances and whispered about showing me a good time in the private room. Before we finished chatting, the bartender came back with my drink and stood around watching us, as if waiting to say something. When I told the stripper I just got here (so come back later), the stripper left and the bartender immediately asked if I wanted to tip her $1 for the bottled water (what?!). I said maybe later. Not off to a good start.

I watched a few girls come onstage and do some relatively lackluster dances -- really can't blame them, it was the middle of the day and very few patrons. Bought a few dances on the couch for $10 each. They had a 3 for 2 special, so I bought 3 dances from a latina looking chick named Victoria, I think. She had just come over from working at California girls (ironically) and was new to the club.
