After a long hiatus I decided to return to the infamous Tropical Lei. I was a bit dismissive of the TL in my previous review but now appreciate its value. The parking lot is full at 10pm on a Wed night which is wierd but there is ample street parking. The neighborhood is nice enough to that you don't have to worry that your car will be jacked.

As I walk in, there is a quick wand and pat down followed by a 15 dollar cover. Right after I pay the dude up front tells me that you also have to buy an overpriced nonalcoholic beverage every hour you are there.

Anyways I walk in and it takes a while for my eyes to adjust to the darkness. I notice that they remodeled the club and added a few more tables, moved the DJ away from the entrance, and made the place seem a lot more spacious than before. As you walk in, the stage is directly in front with the bar and VIP rooms to your left. There is a semi private lap dance area along the back wall. It was a slow night so they didn't always have a dancer on stage. There were about 8 PLs with around 10 ladies.
