The Cricket (They've dropped the Silver...

The Cricket (They've dropped the Silver part of their name) is always one of my favorite day time clubs. No Valet, no entrance charge, and no VIP charge. The floor is one big room with booths along two walls, the bar along another, and the entrance to the VIP on the last wall. One stage in the middle with two poles, during the day it's one dancer up for four songs, at night it's usually two dancers up there.

Dancers all tend to be on the petite/skinny size, you won't find any that are over weight, so if you're looking for that time of girl head down farther on Michigan ave. Even though the dancers are mostly good looking, the club has a bit of a turnover issue, which I don't understand because it's a very laid back place. I'm rarely asked to buy a dancer a drink, and almost never given a price list at the table like some clubs. Extras can be had if the girl feels comfortable with you, so if that's what you're looking for check with the dancer before expecting anything.

At night the bar charges a cover fee, but it's not outrageous. Well worth the visit if you're looking for a much higher class than you'll find at Bogarts or Henry's, but not as pricey as Flight Club.
