Somewhat tame but fun: approachable young beauties, decent contact lapdances. I reviewed Castaway in 2009 so this will be an update. The stage is much the same. Raised fence around the stage, giving the dancers a place to sit and tease you up close. Some do (brush your face with their tits, put their legs over your shoulders), most don't. Most pull their thong aside and show their pussy, or even take it off, but not all. On a weekday evening (around 8:30 PM) there is usually one dancer on stage at a time, sometimes two. The rotation is posted near the bar with the girls' stage names. New girl on stage every 10 min. Nearly all the girls are young and gorgeous. Most are friendly. Many are local girls who have serious day jobs or school and are down to earth. There was a nerdy one with glasses recently who was fun. Some are the too-much-makeup, too glossy, plastic types. I haven't seen oversized implants here recently though, thank goodness. The seating is still bad as in my 2009 review: doesn't allow you and off-duty dancer to sit close; no couch, chairs have tables between except at the bar. Lap dances here are now $25/song. Some dancers cut you short, others start in the middle of a song and go clear thru the next song and only charge you for one. Some let you go into a second (or third) song without warning; most let you know when one song has finished and ask if you want a second. I have taken to paying attention to the music and when I think we're close to one song, I ask if we've finished one song yet. Some dancers keep their thong on during the dance; some take it off. You can usually touch butt and breasts, depending on the girl (most allow it). This club seems to have relaxed about touching in recent times. I never touch pussy out of respect for the girl. The dance area is still well lit and fairly open with minimal privacy. There is one dance bench in the back corner which all girls prefer, a bit more private, and they take that one if it is available. The VIP spaces here are a joke. Brightly lit with thin see-thru curtains, and everyone walking to the mens room, the dancer's dressing room, or to a lapdance, can see plainly. I have never tried a VIP dance here. Other places, notably Center Stage in Springfield MA, allow more contact in a darker dance area, and have seriously private VIP areas where greater satisfaction can be had. But I don't go to strip clubs for ultimate satisfaction -- I enjoy the lapdances and chatting with the girls. If you want ultimate satisfaction, you can have it with complete privacy for a full hour and no rules for about the same $ as a half hour VIP, with an escort. I enjoy the Castaway for its above-board, non-sleazy atmosphere, enjoyable lapdances, and the local girls many of whom will sit and talk (on a slow evening).
