I go back and forth between here and VIP's. Admiral is just a bit out of the way, and others are easier to access by driving, which I do not really want to do. Pink Monkey is the most convenient if you are located downtown; if you are familiar with the area, you can easily just walk there. Not in the most glamorous of areas, but far from what I would consider "dangerous". Outside is fairly non-descript. Main lobby is fairly small, they offer a free coat check which is a plus in Chicago winters and a benefit that VIP's hadn't offered the last time I was there. Cover I believe was $30, not bad, but not great. This place does not serve alcohol, but you still have a two drink min. The main floor is mainly tables, with a small bar located opposite the stage. Bar is usually fairly empty with attractive girls behind the counter who generally appear to be dreading their time working. I usually order two quick RedBulls just to get the drinks out of the way. Girls are generally attractive with decent bodies. I would say 6-8's with one or two girls a bit lower. There is not quite as much conversation that goes on here compared to VIP's, and when a dancer does attempt to sit with you for a bit it can be awkward. They'd rather get you to take a dance and move on to the next guy as opposed to building an ongoing customer. Dances are in a semi private booth "shielded" off by a see-through curtain. If you are the only one getting a dance at the moment, better be prepared to keep your hands off the girl because the bouncers have no problem in basically standing right in front of you and staring. A bit different when it is busy and there are multiple dances going on, so plan wisely. I have never gotten a "Champagne Room" dance, or whatever they call it there. Prices are fairly outrageous for the amount of contact you get and for the little interest they have in actually gaining an ongoing customer. I have a strong feeling the bait and switch is strong here, where as the girls at VIP's do sit and get more of a conversation going with you. Like I said, I go back and forth between the two based on convenience and what type of an experience I am primarily looking for.
