Portland is something special no doubt...

Portland is something special no doubt about it. Right across the street from my motel an open air punk rock show was going on - had to check it out and not too bad. And right next door to that was Union Jacks. As I guess is the case with many clubs in this town it looks very much like a bar with a couple of stripper stages thrown in. I liked the setup - plenty of different seating opportunities.

Watched a couple of dancers at the rail and there were some cute young girls on duty this evening. Yet another dancer arrived and just seeing her in street clothes made me take notice - sure wouldn't mind a dance with her. 20 minutes later I'm sitting away from the stage and exactly that girl sits down nearby - looking a bit confused about what to do next. She introduces herself and it turns out this is her first night working at Union Jacks after having just moved up here from Florida. Must be quite a radical change for her. She is very much the prototype Florida blonde cheerleader with a very pretty smile. Of course I can't resist getting a couple of dances from her and while it may be her first night at this club those were not the first lap dances she ever gave that's for sure. Dances take place in some pretty nice semi private booths - not a 100% sure about whether there's a fixed price but I ended up paying $30 a song for all dances that night.

Later on I ended up at the rail again with a cute south american looking girl on stage - cute enough that I got a couple of dances from her too, didn't regret those either. Overall I really enjoyed the overall vibe of this place - well worth the $3 entry.
