This is a strange and amazing...

This is a strange and amazing club. It's rather seedy and rather small compared to some of these mid west barns. That said the girls are amazing. Not just interns of attractiveness but also in terms of customer interaction - like they can be sweet and nice and compassionate in an obviously taught way. They have been taught customer service. Not a joke. These observations are based on the day shift on a Thursday. After each turn on the one stage the girls go around the room asking for tips and hugging the customers who tip. It's actually rather beautiful because they girls were comfortable with a room full of regulars. The girls were very much in control of the room which considering how hot they were, was kind of awesome. Table dances are against a back wall and when I was there the girls were not hustling for dances. They were taking care of regulars and relaxing. Also there is no real doubt here what that table dance will entail. There are no "private" dances bc all "table" dances take place against the back wall. So your private table lap dance will not be private, nor will there be a table. And if you want to know how the other customers are doing you can watch them getting their "dances". This is really a "mardi gras" club - at least that is what they used to call it in New York. All that said, the attitude in the club is "yup, what you think is happening is happening and yes everyone can see you, but no one is watching or caring because this is what this place is about." It's amazing. You can even see dancers walking their customers to the door after a dance because they are done. Don Draper ( the clubs owner) has created an amazing place. It is sad, disgusting and compassionate and beautiful. And yes I mean that. All clubs should have Draper's attitude and perspective.Note: a Hugger girl told me that "night and day in the Hugger are night and day." She said that nights can get kind of rough with drunk Indiana frat boys - which is a shame.
