$5 cover got us in at...

$5 cover got us in at 11 on a Thursday night. Came with a group of 8, so we got a lot of attention right away (as there were only 10 or so other patrons when we got there.) All the other reviews have panted the picture: It's small. Handful of tables all the way up to the two-pole stage. Bar to the right, maybe six seats or so. Bartender was instantaneous with beers and quick with mixed drinks. I was surprised by the girls for a Thursday night. All very fit, some very pretty. Shot girl walking around was absolutely gorgeous. Stage show wasn't doing much for me (girls were bored, though one had great pole skills) so I had some dances in a private room. Bouncer left us alone and called out as songs ended. Limits clear from the get go.

Haven't been to all other clubs in the city, but this is your only option in the Center City. It may well be worth the cab ride to the east side of the city, where all the rest of the clubs are, but if you're not looking to add two cab rides to your night's expenses, Gold Club is definitely worth a visit.
