This is the first time I've...
This is the first time I've been to Augies (99problems, google it) and I can say this is what you would call an AA club with regards to clientele and dancers.
The club: The club is fairly small for what it is and because of this its hard to walk around in certain areas when its busy but everyone actually seemed more polite than some other clubs I've been in. When you first walk in they will check your ID (actually put it under a UV light) and on Thursday night they charged me 10 bucks to get in. Once you get into the club the stage is to the left running along the wall from front to back, they had 2 dancers at a time dancing (one on each end) but no one really sits at the tip rail. If you want to give one of the dancers some money you just go up to the stage and set some money down and watch her dance. The Bar is on the opposite side (to your right as you walk in) and if you like mixed drinks their about 7 or 8 bucks, the plastic cup they use is small but they do make them strong. As you walk in, directly to your right will be the exit door with a bouncer opening it for you when you leave and an open doorway to the left of the exit that goes back into an area where you can have your private dances. The private dance area isn't so private but they have about 5 or 6 little benches against the back wall each being separated by a 5ft tall wall divider. The bar has bar stools along the entire run of the bar, tables are scattered around the floor with a couple to your right as you walk in, the bathroom is on the opposite end of the room from the entrance near a big mirror, I actually thought there was another room at first when i walked in since the area was so small but it does make the room look larger.
Dancers: As I said earlier all the dancers were AA ranging from ok to fairly hot and if you're an ass man you will like this club. They tend to stand in the room and talk with the customers but no one really goes back to the couch dance area. In the hour or so i was there I was the only person to go back there and I will have to say you do get your moneys worth and the dancer I was with did inflate the dance count but I had a good time so I was ok with it (no tip though). I would say if you look like a fish out of water in this club you may want to just set a dance count before you start so you both know where you stand and don't get a ROB trying to take more money. The songs are fairly long and are mostly hiphop/rap music but I didn't find it distracting and it fit the club.
