Went here the night after visiting...

Went here the night after visiting Paris de Noche next door. This club is reportedly under the same ownership. It is not quite as loud as Paris, but even darker. When I first arrived, after my eyes had adjusted, I still couldn't tell if the dancer's top was on or off ! Same $12.50 ficha as Paris. Smaller club, kinda run down now.

I got a little lucky here. When I told a dancer that the ficha was too high, I told her that $5 would be reasonable. She said if I slipped her $5, she would treat me as if I had bought her the drink. We both kept our word, and she treated me very nice.

There are four clubs on this block. Two were closed at 9pm on a Thursday night, and Cosmos is looking pretty run down, as is the whole block. There were several hookers working the sidewalks, and they are pretty aggressive, not laid back like in TJ. Watch out, some of them are chicos ! { trannies } There are also guys working at the intersection. Some are agents for the clubs just trying to get you into the club and earn a tip. Others are Rateros and may be dangerous, so watch out.
