I've driven past House of Babes hundreds of times and never stopped in, had some free time and was in the area and figured I'd check it out. From the outside it looks kind of sketchy, so I had no idea what to expect behind the door. Speaking of the door, there is a list of "rules". Most were to be expected: dress code, no drugs, no gang colors. One of them totally caught me by surprise: If we see your cell phone we will take it and hold it for 24 hours. I don't know many people willing to hand over their smartphone, but there really isn't a need to have your phone out in a strip club. I mean, if you'd rather play on your phone the club must suck. So I opened the door and was totally surprised! It was so much nicer than I expected it to be. The bar is like 5 steps in the door and was much larger than most. Big flat screen TVs everywhere, lights and mirrors as I expected, but tastefully done. Another thing to mention is the lighting. It was bright in relation to most clubs. I took that as a good thing because you could actually see the girls, not just a curvy silhouette. So I sat at the bar and was greeted by the stunning bartender.
