Had passed it many times while traveling on Grand Avenue, it looks like a dive bar from the outside, decided to try it. The heavy rains made the parking lot a swimming pool by the entrance, but the rocks to the side of it allowed for foot rather than boat entry.
Greeted at the door by the doorman who use a wand to check for anything. He also asked for a tip, found that quite odd. He then pulled a chair out from a table and asked what I wanted to drink. He proceeded to the bar to request it (obviously fishing for more tip). I followed to him to the bar to get my drink and survey the place. He left and I got my drink.
The outside does not do justice to the inside. It was clean and quite nice. About 15-20 round tops with two clean, well upholstered chairs at each. The dance prices are cleared printed at each table, $5 table, $10 wall and $15 VIP, also, they had show prices $125 for a half hour and $250 for an hour. Mirrors on all sides give the place a much larger look. I was pleasantly surprised. The VIP is a joke, however, the only difference is that the dances are done on couches but there is no privacy at all.
