Stopped by the Haven Place on...

Stopped by the Haven Place on Haven Street in East Baltimore for the first time in about five years. Not much has changed. There is still a long bar along one wall in the lower half of house, and tables on a high level in the other half of the house. The small stage still exists near the street entrance, but most people come and go through the parking lot door on the side. All the lighting on the stage is now small red bulbs, so it is harder to see the dancers. (More subdued that is) On this Tuesday afternoon about 6 pm there were three dancers. One introduced herself as Nicole, and two others. All young. One climbed over the railing around the stage several times to dance on the nearby table or the floor. The two others remained on stage, and allowed ABSOLUTELY no touching. All three became totally nude, but two did so earlier in their routines than did the other. Bottom line: not much has changed, but the girls do enjoy prancing around in the altogether buff for 3 or 4 songs. One girl did give an “air-dance” to one of her regulars back in the corner, out of sight of the bar. No cover charge. Bottle of beer was $4
