It had been a few months...

It had been a few months since my last visit, so I thought I'd give the Sands another try. My visit was on a Friday evening at around 11:30 p.m. or so, and it was reasonably busy. There appeared to be a few members of a bachelor party in the front row of their only stage, but they were pretty tame. It appeared that several of the customers had just come from the bar next door and you could tell that they had their "buzz on." The dancers were pretty limited in number for a Friday, but that is what you'd expect at the Sands as there are usually not too many girls on any given night. They were a few young and slender beauties and a couple of average bodies, but overall the talent was not too bad. Calysta was one who's name I caught when she went on stage. Her performance was actually pretty good for the Sands and given the limited size of the stage. I also recognized Nikki, who is a barista in her other life. Drinks are still a rip-off at $10 for two small watered down drinks (I think the glasses are no more than 8 oz.). I've always that the ownerships practice of being cheap on something like drinks (sodas) for customers is stupid and lame. Happy customers will spend more on dancers, which leads to happy dancers, which leads to tips for "bartender" and waitress, and thereby keeping everyone happy. Oh well, maybe they can learn at least this from the DV clubs. Still the evening was a good one after I got several dances from one of the girls who caught my eye. Enjoy!
