I will qualify this...

I will qualify this rating by saying that I did not get a private dance when I went the other night: the house dancers rated from 3 to 5 and the only feature dancer offering private dances, though about a 7.5, was from the Wannadance school so I declined. I've heard that the private dances are good contact but being a visually stimulated, youth obsessed, beauty worshipping product of a western mass media upbringing I just could not bring myself to fling away $20 to find out. The general unattractiveness of the house dancers did negatively impact this rating.

Also, this place is no Gentlemen's Club, it's a Peeler Bar and a pretty damn good one. The beer was cold and reasonable for a strip club, the waitresses were cute and quick. The club was clean and dark and comfortably run down with too damn much blacklight, and the Men's was clean and stench free. The tunes between dancers were mostly over 20 years old and featured actual guitars. The crowd was loud and laid back, with nary a suit in sight.

Rating a Vancouver or any BC club for the stage dancers is a tricky proposition since the girls change clubs every week and the clubs all hire from the same pool of talent (the Paramount in New Westminster is the only club that only has house dancers), so luck is a big part of what you get to see on any given visit but most clubs are fairly consistent in quality from week to week. There were five girls rotating on stage this week; 7.5, 7.5, 8, 9 & 10. In the usual twist of fate the hottest girl danced to the worst music and the least attractive girls danced to the best music -- one even broke out the 70's funk for a set.
