I arrived pretty early in the evening, but ended up staying until close. There was a good variety of girls the night I was there and mileage in the back was actually fairly decent. Things were pretty slow to start the night, but as more girls came in, the atmosphere became much better. Negotiate your dances and you'll get a pretty good deal if you and the girl get along well. I'm 99.9% sure it's beer only, unless something changed. If I'm back in the area, I'd hit up the Pony again for sure.
