Coming back from a late flight, I noticed that Lou Turks was right next door to the parking facility where I had left my car for the past few days, so I ducked in to see how the place was. I paid a $5 cover at the door to the bouncer (and was frisked) then made my way into the club. It's a very oddly shaped building, with mirrors on many of the walls. There are three stages, but the one on the far right was never used while I was there. The main stage is in the middle of a long, narrow, rectangular bar, and the side stage is on the other end of that bar, far from the door. There were a couple of dancers on the side stage during my 45 minute stay, but only for maybe the first half of it. The club allows smoking, but the haze wasn't too bad and I didn't pick up the scent too badly.

I paid $5+ for a beer (I didn't count the singles I got for change, thinking it would be bad form) and the dollar parade began. The parade was a bit intense for my liking. Three minutes after sitting down, I was offered my first dance ($20 for an in-the-open couch) by a fuller-figured brunette with bolt-ons. I thought she was on the tall side, but she just had enormous heels. I told her to finish her lap and check back with me, as I wanted to take in the lay of the land.

Several more minutes passed, and several more ones flew from my stack, but I didn't really see any better prospects, so I took a lap around the bar and found her. She and I discussed the pricing list (start at $20, then $30 for a four-minute "VIP" in a windowed room with darker glass, up to $99 for 15 minutes, and beyond) and I settled on a $30 one. You pay the dancer after the dance.
