Well, things have changed in Shoreditch...

Well, things have changed in Shoreditch since my last visit !

Dropped in my usual (I say usual, I went there a couple of times about 15 years ago....) Browns on a Friday lunchtime, expecting it to be full. It was empty - not a single punter.

So, I'd heard good things about the Axe, so thought I'd try there. Not the most welcoming of frontages, but I went in. Long bar down one side of the rooms, booths and poles down the other. Private area behind a wall at the end. I had doubled the punter count when I arrived, but I thought I'd at least stay for a drink. Sat next to Asia, Chinese cross with UK accent - nice girl, a 7, enhanced. Chatted for a while - no pole action until at least 4 punters, so good job the beer was reasonable (£4).
