Another in my evolving series on Sam's: seems they've decided to bring the cover charge upward from almost-never, to starting at 10pm to (now) 8pm, at least on high-traffic end-of-the-week or weekend nights (not 100% sure). In any case, when added to an increase in valet parking, Sam's is no longer the super value it used to be, and the energy inside did seem to be affected (much less wild than past visits, even by 11pm). Dancers still a wild, eclectic mix, on the tattoo side of the equation. $10, high contact dances still hard to beat in LA.
