Spearmint Rhino City of Industry is...
Spearmint Rhino City of Industry is my go to strip club. I had been going here for a solid 2 years and had been a regular for awhile. The staff knew me well and that's part of what made the visits so memorable. It was like a scene from Cheers. I would walk in and people knew me. The bouncers, the waitresses, and the dancers knew me. The dancers also knew who I was there for. Like I said I was a regular and as such, I was someone's regular.
The club itself is cleaner than most other clubs I've been to. There's plenty of parking and the door staff are always friendly. There's a bit of a dress code, no sports shorts (i.e., basketball shorts) and basically no hats. You can bypass this if you wear a Rhino hat which you can purchase at the lobby. The entrance fee has been lowered since the last time I was there. It used to be $20 with a free drink, but now it's a much more reasonable $11 with free drink. There are usually at least 2 waitresses working. One stays behind the bar and the other works the floor and the dance booths. On this particular night it was Jolene and Cristina. These ladies are awesome and really make my visits to the club feel like hanging out at my local bar. They are very friendly and not pushy when asking if I'd like to buy a dancer a drink. The DJ is pretty good and always plays a great variety of music ranging from rock, to hip hop and R&B. Overall the club is clean and spacious. The only fault I can really find is that sometimes, usually later in the night, the bathroom is typically out of paper towels. But just tell one of the waitresses and it's easily resolved.
There is a great selection of girls. They typically rate at least a 7 or above on my scale. But assume there's one for every type here. Not sure what the selection is like during the day shift as I've never been, but the ladies at night are pretty good looking. There are an abundance of implants (breast and ass) throughout this club but I assume that's to be expected at a strip club. If the dancers know you're a regular, they will pretty much leave you alone since they know you're waiting on someone particular. Otherwise, the dancers are pretty friendly and will come up and introduce themselves and say hello. I haven't experienced any pushy dancers in my time here so I can't comment on that. But no one is overly rude if you say you don't want to dance. Be friendly to them and they'll be friendly back. If you engage in a conversation with a girl you should expect one of the waitresses to ask if you would like to buy them a drink. Lady drinks cost $10 so be forewarned as this can quickly add up. Regardless if you buy a girl a drink or you just get drinks for yourself ($5 for water and soda), be sure to tip the waitresses.
