I keep hoping I will find...

I keep hoping I will find more clubs that are decent in the afternoon, but as many times as I give the Fire House a try, it just doesn't measure up. Sure, there's no cover, but that only goes so far. When I go to a club, the first thing I do is hit the bar and get a drink (and some ones)... I stood there for 5 minutes wondering where the bartender was before she stopped playing video poker and served me. The dancers were definitely "day shift" material.

Hope springs eternal, but I won't be back for another try for a good while
