So I had a Wed afternoon...

So I had a Wed afternoon off the other week, decided to try Flashdancers in Midtown. Had read some good reviews, even though I'm not typically a Manhattan kind of guy.

No cover in the afternoon. You enter and go down a pretty dark stairway, and then you come in right to a central square bar. Drinks are typical Manhattan prices, but you can ask for drink specials in the day. There is one girl dancing right on the bar, but most of the girls are dancing over on side stages with lots of railing and seats all around.

The quality of girls was high in the day, IF you like European/Italian/Russian white women. They're all over the place, but they're pretty and hot. That's a plus. The lapdances, however, were YMMV. Out in the open in a dark space, on benches, and it was pretty much an air dance. I didn't put the time in, though, so as I said, YMMV.
