Was in STL on business last...

Was in STL on business last week and decided to revisit an old stomping ground from way back in the day. I must be getting older and/or less adventurous in my old age, but I don't remember the drive to this club and the immediate area as scary as it seemed this time. I have to say, I was glad that my rental car was not flashy!

The club is as much of a dump as it was in the day, though. I think the chairs might even be the same as back then (think about the 1,000's of asses). This club should try to stay open as long as it can, because they won't get much in a liquidation sale. It is funny, back in the day, I found the ghetto-ness oddly exciting -- even adding to the naughtiness of it all. Now, I no longer want to be frightened - I just want to get my freak on and get out safely.

Anyway, I didn't get to see a shower show -- that made me sad. Club seemed to have a tired, depressed energy about it. DJ couldn't get any enthusiasm out of anyone (PLs or dancers) as hard as he tried. Got 1 private dance which was clinical and without pizzazz. Too bad for me -- after reading other reviews, I wish I had trolled longer -- I might have received the desired ITC mileage that would have raised my mood and ratings (among other things).
