I'd grown bored with the clubs...

I'd grown bored with the clubs in my local area, so took a drive to Centerfolds. When I arrived at 10pm I noticed three things: it was almost empty; it looked like in the beginning it aspired to be something greater than it wound up being now several years on; and, the whole place smelled like the men's room. Centerfold's is open until 5am, so I expected peak time to be after midnight. It actually started filling up by 11pm, so dancers weren't playing on their phones for long.

There is plenty of seating around the stage to see the dancers, all nude (eventually), up close in great detail. I sat stage side for a rotation to see all the dancers at the time. This cost me around $20 in tips, which is about normal as some came around for a second dip and others didn't. Dollar parade's don't bother me so long as I get a bit of a show and the seating setup of Centerfolds provides that opportunity. There are blessings to this kind of seating arrangement and then there are curses. After the first rotation of around 12-14 dancers, I only wanted to see four of the dancers again. Some of the others just weren't my type, but a couple just shouldn't be on stage, wearing either a filthy stained g-string or looked like an emaciated John Gruden with bolt-ons. Overall an even distribution of 8's, 6's and 2's. And to give an over/under, I'd place the majority over 28. While I didn't ask or stay around long enough, I wouldn't be surprised if more dancers show up after midnight.

At my usual club, the dancers come sit and chat for a good while before hitting you up for a dance. This isn't that kind of place. Centerfold's dancers pretty much cut to the chase and lay out your options, normal couch dance, 15 min VIP and 30 min VIP, promising much more fun in the VIP than the couch dance room. Naturally, every dancer tells you the VIP is so much better. It is. People constantly walk through the couch dance room, which is actually just a hallway leading to room with the VIP booths.
