Had a pretty good, solid night...

Had a pretty good, solid night at Carl's and once again...learned some valuable lessons of which I shall share. When I arrived it was nice, they had the Jackie Robinson West game on on a few TV's and some pre season football on a few others...the nice classic rock was going at just the right pitch, the bathrooms and sports bar in general was clean...the up and down economy has kept me away for most of the year so this trip I took advantage of the thirst Thursday $1 beer and I didn't always tip the automatic dollar but I did sometimes and I think I had a better night because of it...Lesson #1 I had just as much fun been alittle more economical as I do playing baller and the deals are there for a reason (my favorites let me know they want to see me more often...I agreed even though it's going to take the rest of the year for me to be back in black).

Carl's also validated some ideas I have for my own spot...you can play a variety in strip clubs and it will work as long as the tempo is right. It was at Carl's once where I got a great dance to Prince's Purple Rain...also, I took a quick stroll to Bobby's and J's up the street and although there was nothing going on...I must have staggered slightly as I walked to Bobby's and a Stone Park cop followed behind me as I entered...he was just chatting with the owner but I got the feeling he wouldn't have minded a collar if the opportunity would have presented itself...the lesson is the police in the area will totally leave you alone but they will pull you over for speeding, etc. and they do at times watch like a hawk...and sometimes Thirsty Thursday's might not just refer to the beer...but i'm always as mild mannered as Clark Kent.

I also reminisced about my 08' trip to LA on my way back to Carl's and thought for a moment how lucky those LA guys are to have both beauty and variety without stocking love or watching security...they get it on down there!! And they get it on in a lot of spots down there!! But then I thought how it could all get old hat quicker if you always knew what to expect...beauty or not...here you've got an Arnie's or two but it's mostly a variation of results depending on night, club, etc. so I headed back to Carl's appreciating Illinois offerings alittle more and got my dances from my two favorite latina's and one indian and one fair skinned black girl...though I didn't remember any of their names...there faces and dances will stay with me for a long time...happy adventures!
