Finally made my way to the legendary Mons Venus. Much has already been written about the club layout, pricing, the girls, and so on, so no need to elaborate further on well-established facts, so on to my visit...

Got there relatively early on a Thursday evening. Place was not especially crowded with customers, but there were plenty of girls to choose from. It may have been around the time when girls working the day shift were leaving and night shift girls arriving, I don't know, but there were many choices for private dances. As previously written, girls walk around in various stages of undress and offer dances in a machine-gun style fashion. A simple "no thank you" and off she'll go to another patron. I said no to a few but couldn't resist when a stunning, natural brunette with a southern drawl cooed to me, "Want a dance with a southern belle?" Off we went to the non-private private dance area and I partook of 3 - 4 dances. Then to my surprise she offered take-out, which I had not expected. I arranged to meet her in the hotel lobby bar where I was staying. My fellow road warriors at the bar had to suppress their jaw-dropping reaction when this girl walked up and sat next to the old white guy at the end of the bar. We had a drink then retreated upstairs and proceeded to get to know one another better, if you know what I mean. Got her digits to connect when I'm back in Tampa on business again.
