I was in Ausin on business...

I was in Ausin on business a couple of weeks ago so I decided to check out the XTC Cabaret on Sunday afternoon 2/22. What a waste of time and about $20 - I should have stayed in my hotel room. This is a totally nude BYOB club (the only one in Austin I think) so there's always a hefty cover charge - $20 normally, but half price on Sunday afternoon. Table dances, normally $20 are also half price on Sunday pm, so I figured if I was going to take a chance, I might as well do it when the price was right.

The club is pretty easy to find, just off I290 if you're heading towards Houston from I35. It looks a little better inside than it does outside, but compared to most of the clubs I've been to in TX, it's pretty shabby, but I've been to MUCH worse in other parts of the country. However, if the girls are attractive and friendly I don't really care too much about the aesthetics of the club, but in this case the girls SUCKED! Maybe it's better on a busy night, but on Sunday afternoon there were only 3 girls dancing and the best looking of the three was only about a 3 on a scale of 1 - 10. The "best" looking of the three was the only one who would even look at the patrons while she danced, and she was also the only one who would smile, but when I went up to the stage to give her a tip and she smiled at me, her smile became a liability because there was a big ole hole in her mouth where one of her canine teeth was missing.

The girls would dance two songs, then the stage would be empty for the next 2 - 3 songs, then the next girl would get up on stage for two songs. The DJ did appologize for the interruptions, blaming it on no-show dancers, but that's about the only thing that kept my overall rating of 2 from being even lower.
