I just came from a completely underwhelming experience at Bottoms Up (review on its way). This was as great as that was horrible. Truly I had one of my all-time best experiences minutes after one of my all-time worst.

Got to GD around 4:30. The contrast was jarring. Bottoms Up had 2 dancers and 1 customer (me). GD had at least 7 dancers and a similar number of customers. 4 or 5 of the dancers were in the middle of dances. Now, that’s more like it!

I ended up staying for 4 hours, sampling both the day and the night shifts. First, the day: I got between 1 and 3 dances from 6 of the dancers. Hey, it’s only 5 per song, so why not indulge? All were solid, grinding dances. Looks wise I’d say they ran from 5 to 8. The day round ended with one who was a bit tipsy, and maybe for that reason gave great DFK. We talked VIP, but this was right at the end of her shift, and she said she had a ride waiting. But, she thought she was coming back for the night shift, or I could come over to her place. Works for me! So, I got her number. We exchanged a few texts while I was waiting to see if we were going to VIP at the club or take things outside. Eventually, she stopped replying. That was to my benefit, as the night club adventures (and adventurers) were vastly superior.
