I went to Venom to check...

I went to Venom to check it out, IT was after 7:30 Pm. I had to pay a cover charge of $5, and was wanded down right at the entrance. That is OK. When I got into the club, there were 2 guys sitting at the bar on the right when you get in, and the rest of the club looked fairly empty, and ... there WAS music going ... but nobody dancing at any of the poles.

The layout is nothing impressive, there is seating around the "very high up" dance platform (at about 4 feet high). Left and right you will see the usual uncomfortable round back chairs, that are also found at Curves and Raiders reef. The middle section did look a little more classy with actual leather couches. Because that section did look more expensive, and nobody was dancing, I decided to go to the left side and chose a seat. When I got used to the fairly dim light, I noticed one older person in the same area, as well as a guy who looked like in a trance and under influence of something (not alcool). On the far right side of the danceplatform there was a raised area, with booths and curtains that I think can be closed (Later I was explained that was Venoms "VIP" rooms). Just in front of that area there was one person getting a lapdance.

I had to wait about 10 minutes before a waitress came along asking what I wanted to drink. I ordered a draft. While waiting, and about 3 songs later finally a dancer showed up to dance on the platorm. So now it looked like we were up to 2 girls. Then I saw 2 more girls come in , go to the back to get ready and show up. And also I saw finally 3 ore girls show up, who started going arround to discuss and eventualy ask for Lapdances. One of the girls, fairly attractive sat next to me and told me she was new here, and tryed out TD-West before, but liked it better here. She is the one who told me that the couches are in fact part of the general seating are, and no more pricy. She then asked if I wanted a dance, and I gave in, she told nme to move to the couches, as it was more comfortable .. for me as well as for her, and I followed that advice. I am glad I did. The better it is for her, ... well the better it is for me. Additionally the couches give you the best views to the stage also. after her dance was over, and I payed her the usual $20 for 2 floordances in Tucson, Finally there was more movement, and more different girls circulated in the club, and more patrons seamed to show up. evenso there were more girls, there really was no 8, 9 or 10. But the girls present were freindly, of all shapes and forms, and collors, but none really overweight. So it got better. One of the girls explained to me the VIP section. the one with the curtains. Se here it goes, .. it really is one of the more expensive deals in Tucson. You have to pay $25 to get 15 minutes of Booth time, and then additionally the going price is $25 per song. While the price per dance can be negotiated down, that is still way more than any of the other clubs in Tuscon. The club however had so few Patrons that evening, the the girls payed Tips amongst each-other when on stage.... All in all not a club I would recommend. I left the club that evening, after 3 more lapdances on the floor, that were done with skill, but fairly mechanically, except for one girl, that seemed to be enjoying what she does.
