Sat evening visit (8.27.05). Yes, this is the "Mecca" of SC's. However, on this particular visit, the only thing going in my favor was the easy parking as I arrived at 830PM or so. I guess I hit a "slow" time, and the hustle factor was in overdrive. Not a lot of sidewall dancing, and enough of the women approaching me used very impersonal approaches. "Wanna Play?" is a big turnoff if that is the first words out of a dancer's mouth.... Did not partake, and all dancers did go away gracefully. (There still is a neon sign on wall to notify mgmt if a dancer is rude to you). I have had many awesome visits to MV in my career; this was not one of them. I just think I was the victim of circumstance, as it was a slow beginning to a probably awesome Sat nite.....part of that is my fault for the timing of my visit, although the gals sure did not help things with excessive hustling. This place is still highly recommended; you can't hit a home run every time at bat, and I will be back.
