I'd never been here, so I...

I'd never been here, so I went out with a fellow dirtbag to check out a few of the local spots. The place is purple. You can't miss it - even at night. We were pleased to find no cover and the vibe was very chill. We were there for less than an hour (get to that later), and the crowd seemed like a lot of regulars. Drink prices were very customer-friendly and the customers seemed more interested in the shots than the girls. I don't blame them, either. The dancers were just okay. Maybe a little above average for a neighborhood spot, but just okay. The bartender girls seemed playful and fun.

The place is set up with a bar on the left (with the dancers behind the bar) and a pool table area on the right with a private area behind that. The dancers seemed pretty wasted (it was pre-midnight on a Friday night) and the stereo kept cutting out. Kinda sketchy/kinda funny. The bartenders seemed more into breaking balls with the super-drunk custys that were on the verge of passing out (a few dudes did fall over in the bar area) than serving drinks, though. We had trouble getting shots and beers (had to order two-at-a-time), and the dancers didn't seem to be biting on lappers - which seemed odd because the whole time I was there (about an hour... we were on a tour that night) we didn't see one person get a lapper or go to the private room. That was kind of a let down because my research on this place seemed like this spot was ready for some action. Not so - at least on this night! This place had a vibe that made it seem like there's more fun than I found that night, though. I'm sure I'll be back for one more shot.
