I was in town on business...

I was in town on business and staying at the Howard Johnson that is literally right next door, so I decided to walk over. It was $20 cover which I expected for Tampa. They have a webcam system which I checked out before heading over, but I couldn't see much. When I actually walked in I was surprised, as it was not apparent that the place was that small. But I remember the same effect with Dollhouse, which by the way does deserve to be rated higher than here. The place is clean and does not seem to be targeting any particular market segment. The DJ had a few good one liners, but he should probably talk less. I don't remember much about the music, but the place had kind of a cheesy vibe.

I know Tampa does not allow full nude with alcohol, but this club might want to consider going topless. It is kind of like Inner Room where alcohol is necessary to make the place seem more entertaining. But this place has $20 cover and is more expensive generally, so I expected better talent. It is possible that it was an off night, but only one of the dancers was top notch. This place is not currently ranked in the top 100, and based on this experience I would say that is correct. Also $8 for a Redbull?! It seemed be mostly White dancers at this club which is normal for Tampa. I got bored and left to try Mons Venus across the street. With better options on the same street even, you might want to skip it. I might try it again, but only under the following conditions:

A)I have a reason to be in town again, stay at the same hotel, and get drunk before walking over.
